At the openning faculty meeting of the 2006-2007 school year at John Burroughs Middle School (JB), Los Angeles, California, the Los Angeles School Board honored Ted Ryan, WB6JXY (sk).   Ted taught at JB, when it was a junior high school, from 1969 to 1983.   He continously taught novice and general licensing classes at the San Fernando Valley Amateur Radio Club, W6SD, from 1965 to 2000.  Ted also tutored people privately at his home in Panorama City, California.
